Welcome to this page dedicated to the performance of Vangelis in
Rotterdam, the Netherlands, on the 18th of June 1991. Vangelis played in
Rotterdam as part of an event organised by the Dutch Ministry of Economics. This
'Event of Excellence' was held in order to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of 'Eureka', a program
started in 1985. The program was initiated to stimulate European technological research
projects and improve the cooperation between the European members, so that European
technology could be competitive to that of America and Japan.
During the day of the concert a special Eureka-booklet
was sold, and apparently also a special Eureka T-shirt was printed. To learn more of the events that took place around the concert,
